“Plastic Men” to Air Preceding CNN Debate October 18 (VIDEO!)

Revolution PAC’s Ron Paul ad targeting integrity–deficient rivals to make national TV debut.

Northbrook, IL – October 13, 2011.  Revolution PAC has secured three 60-second national prime time spots to air its acclaimed ad “Plastic Men” in conjunction with next week’s CNN Western Republican Presidential Debate. Featured by USA Today and The Wall Street Journal when it launched in mid-September and logging more than 100,000 YouTube views since that time, the video sharply differentiates limited government champion and fiscal hawk Congressman Ron Paul from his establishment-driven GOP rivals.

The CNN Western Republican Presidential Debate will be broadcast live from Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on October 18.

Revolution PAC expects the airing of “Plastic Men” to further diminish Rick Perry, who has plummeted in the polls and failed to impress in recent debates, as a viable option for conservative leaders. Perry’s Texas executive order requiring HPV vaccinations, Mitt Romeny’s Massachusetts health care mandate and the economic miscues of a host of Republican candidates are spotlighted in the ad.

“’Plastic Men’ is an exercise in distinguishing Ron Paul’s consistent, principled record from those of the GOP field’s many pretenders,” explains Revolution PAC Advisory Board member Gary Franchi. “Unabashed TARP supporters Mitt Romney and Herman Cain, for instance, stand in stark contrast to Ron Paul, who began warning of the housing collapse in 2001 and who has never voted for a bailout. The media consistently downplays Dr. Paul’s prescience on this and other vital issues; Revolution PAC aims to correct any misperceptions.”

Timing of the ad, Franchi continues, could not be better. “Cain was caught this week brazenly denying his criticism of Ron Paul’s Audit the Fed push. Now that the investigation has proven fruitful, revealing $16 trillion in previously undisclosed loans by the Federal Reserve to foreign and domestic banks, Cain claims to support transparency.”

The bottom line message of “Plastic Men” is clear, insists Franchi. “Regardless of slick packaging, political expediency will not win votes in 2012.”

Rep. Paul’s strong states’ rights outlook engenders strong support for his campaign throughout the West. In September, Paul won the California GOP Straw Poll by a wide margin. In the 2008 GOP presidential primaries, he earned second place-finishes in Nevada, Montana, Idaho and New Mexico.

A recent Harris Poll showed Ron Paul prevailing over Barack Obama 51 percent to 49 percent in a general election race.

Revolution PAC is bolstering Ron Paul’s consistent, constitutional message with targeted TV advertising campaigns complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations are being accepted by Revolution PAC to support that effort.

VIDEO: Revolution PAC Web Ad Blasts Obama on Militarism

Ron Paul super PAC illustrates blowback, bankruptcy wrought by Mideast intervention.

Northbrook, IL – October 07, 2011

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s heralded 2009 “Imagine” foreign policy speech is the inspiration for a new web ad released Thursday by Revolution PAC. The 3-minute video reinforces the unintended consequences – increased foreign aggression and debilitating national debt – reaped by overseas adventurism.

The ad is a direct hit to President Obama, who reneged on his 2008 campaign promise to bring the troops home and end the now decade-long War on Terror.

“Establishment politicians, including Barack Obama, either fail to grasp or outright ignore the crushing impact of U.S. militarism,” explains Revolution PAC Advisory Board member Gary Franchi. “For 30 years, Ron Paul has stood firm in backing a constitutional foreign policy based on friendship and trade with other nations and a strong defense of our own borders. Tangible support of Dr. Paul by the troops themselves more than proves his position.”

Ron Paul is favored for president by the military rank-and-file, receiving the most donations from all military branches in second quarter 2011 fund-raising.
 Partial narrative from the ad:

“The reality is that our military presence on foreign soil is as offensive to the people who live there as armed Chinese troops would be if they were stationed in Texas. Shutting down military bases and ceasing to deal with other nations with threats and violence is not isolationism. It is the opposite. Opening ourselves up to friendship, honest trade and diplomacy is the foreign policy of peace and prosperity.”

Last week’s Harris Poll revealed that Ron Paul would prevail over Barack Obama 51 percent to 49 percent in a general election race. Paul stands at 12 percent nationwide.
Revolution PAC is bolstering Ron Paul’s consistent, constitutional message with targeted TV advertising campaigns complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Proceeds will support the airing of game-changing commercials, like “Plastic Men,” in the months to come. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations can be made at http://www.revolutionpac.com.

Ron Paul a Rising Contender Against Obama in Florida

Head-to-head, Paul-Obama in statistical tie

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – In a new PPP Poll, 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is in a statistical tie with President Barack Obama in the battleground state of Florida, with Dr. Paul taking 44 percent to President Obama’s 45 percent in the head-to-head matchup.

Dr. Paul performed the best against the President among the other Republican presidential candidates.

“This latest poll is just more evidence of Ron Paul’s competitiveness against the President,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“Ron Paul’s message of constitutionally-limited government, a humble, pro-America foreign policy, and sound money is continuing to resonate with Americans who are clearly tired of the same failed policies being offered by establishment politicians.  The same goes, it seems, for voters in the Sunshine State,” added Mr. Benton.

These results come just days after a Harris Poll showed Ron Paul defeating President Obama 51 percent to 49 percent in a general election race.

Ron Paul Bests Obama in Latest Poll

Shows Paul beating President in head-to-head matchup

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – In a new Harris Poll, 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul beats President Obama 51 percent to 49 percent in a general election race.

“This is yet another poll that clearly proves how competitive Ron Paul is against the sitting President,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.  “Dr. Paul is making strides, affirming that the American people are looking for conviction instead of the typical status quo rhetoric being offered by establishment candidates.”

These results come just a few weeks after a Reuters/Ipsos survey showed Ron Paul polling within striking distance of President Obama among registered voters.  Furthermore, a late August Rasmussen poll showed him within 1 percent of President Obama in a head-to-head matchup.

Another recent Gallup survey, conducted August 17-18, shows Paul only 2 percentage points behind Obama in a general election match-up.  In a similar head-to-head survey from last year done by Rasmussen, Dr. Paul drew a statistical dead heat with the President.  And earlier this year in a survey by CNN, he did the best out of the other Republicans put up against Obama in a head-to-head poll.
