Ron Paul Campaign Announces Substantial TV Ad Buy in Nevada and Minnesota

Energetic ‘Big Dog’ ad featuring ‘Plan to Restore America’ provisions to air in key early voting states

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign will begin running its celebrated television ad ‘Big Dog’ in the key early voting states of Nevada and Minnesota.
The ad buy is substantial in size, and it is part of the campaign’s delegate strategy to secure the Republican nomination for the presidency. The campaign will air the ads on broadcast and cable television in both states.

This is the fourth time the campaign has purchased ads in Nevada, and the first time it has done so in Minnesota. With respect to Nevada, the campaign announced ad buys for ‘Secure,’ ‘Life,’ and the combined ‘Plan’ and ‘Consistent’ buy on October 7th, 14th, and 20th, respectively.

The 30-second spot ‘Big Dog’ contrasts establishment Republican candidates unwilling to make difficult choices on spending cuts and debt reduction with the sole candidate whose bite on such matters equals his bark: Ron Paul. The ad informs viewers about major provisions of Ron Paul’s “Plan to Restore America” including his proposals to cut $1 trillion from the federal budget in year one, balance the federal budget in year three, and eliminate the Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, and Interior.

“Running ads in the key early voting states of Nevada and Minnesota is part of our delegate strategy to secure the Republican nomination. Both states present opportunities for a strong top-three showing in their upcoming caucuses,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton, referring to the February 4th nominating contest in Nevada and the February 7th one in Minnesota.

“Ours is the only campaign with the resources, organization, and stamina to defeat establishment candidate Mitt Romney in a 50-state race,” said Mr. Benton.

Ron Paul Super PAC Live Webcasting SC Primary, Urging Cable/Network Boycott

Revolution PAC panel and correspondents to break down contest and road ahead.

Northbrook, IL (PRWEB) January 20, 2012 - Revolution PAC, backer of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s bid for the Republican nomination, will host a live webcast on Saturday following the South Carolina Primary election. In conjunction with the event, the super committee is calling for a nationwide boycott of cable/network outlets, which have exhibited bias against Rep. Paul in their reporting.

“Pew Research just a few months ago confirmed the immense media bias against Dr. Paul,” explains Revolution PAC Chair Gary Franchi. “Despite his electoral success, he consistently receives the least national media coverage of all Republican candidates.”

Case in point, notes Franchi, was CNN’s post-Southern Republican Presidential Debate coverage Thursday, which provided coverage of neither Rep. Paul nor his debate remarks.

“Quite simply, Ron Paul’s supporters are losing their patience and are creating their own media opportunities,” says Franchi. “Revolution PAC is pleased to be able to offer this forum, and we anticipate a lively event on Saturday.”

Election analysis will be provided as the polls close tomorrow by Revolution PAC’s South Carolina correspondents and an in-studio grassroots liberty panel. The public is invited to participate in the webcast from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. CST Saturday, January 21 by visiting http://www.RevolutionPAC.com.

Rep. Paul received the coveted endorsement of South Carolina State Sen. Tom Davis Sunday, Davis calling Paul “a Tea Party of one against a towering wave of red ink.” At a Myrtle Beach press conference, Davis added, “There’s only one person speaking to what I believe is the core problem of our country today. The biggest threat to our liberty comes from debt.”

Joining Davis, three additional South Carolina state senators – Sen. Lee Bright (Spartanburg), Sen. Kevin Bryant (Spartanburg) and Sen. Danny Verdin (Greenville) – endorsed Rep. Paul Tuesday.

Reinforcing what is shaping up as a two-man race, Rep. Paul and Mitt Romney are the only Republican candidates who have successfully secured positions on the primary ballots of every state, reported South Carolina’s The State newspaper last week. A CNN/ORC International Poll released Monday also revealed that Paul and Romney are the only Republican contenders tied with Barack Obama in a likely general election matchup.

Revolution PAC is supporting U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign for the Republican nomination and consistent, constitutional message with targeted TV advertising, direct mail campaigns and innovative Web promotions complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations are being accepted by Revolution PAC to support that effort.

Ron Paul Campaign Announces South Carolina TV Ad ‘Betrayal’ Aimed at Santorum

Hard-hitting television, Internet ad argues that Washington insider Rick is an untrustworthy serial hypocrite on spending and right to work

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today its new ad ‘Betrayal’ aimed at Rick Santorum.

The ad will begin airing on Monday, January 9th on television in the key early voting state of South Carolina.  In addition, the campaign has arranged for internet promotion on websites where conservatives congregate.

‘Betrayal’ exposes Rick Santorum as another serial hypocrite in the vein of Newt Gingrich, showcasing the former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania’s record of duplicity on issues such as spending – including raising the debt ceiling – and insider lobbying.  The ad also features Santorum’s appalling record on right to work, an issue dear to South Carolina residents but one of pivotal importance right now due to the NLRB-Boeing dispute.  The ad also includes Rick Santorum’s now-infamous confession that he is, in his own words, “no longer a deficit hawk.”

“Ron Paul can come to South Carolina with a clear conscience and an impeccable record on the issues important to voters there: fiscal restraint, right to work, and strict adherence to the Constitution and one’s own promises.  In addition, Dr. Paul has support from many of our armed services men and women,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“This ad showcases the real Rick Santorum and it’s the reason why Santorum should be leery of competing in the ‘First in the South’ Republican primary, and it is why we hope for a strong, competitive showing in the Palmetto State,” added Mr. Benton.

RON PAUL CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES SOUTH CAROLINA TV AD BUY

Celebrated prolife and veterans ads to begin airing today in the Palmetto State

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today that it will begin airing its celebrated prolife and veterans ads – ‘Staying on the Right Path’ and ‘He Served’ – in the key early voting state of South Carolina.
The ads feature some of Ron Paul’s patients attesting to his character, professionalism, and prolife credentials and his longstanding devotion to veterans’ issues, respectively.
The ad buy is in the six-figure dollar range and begins today on broadcast and cable television.
“Airing the well-received ads ‘Staying on the Right Path’ and ‘He Served’ will bring Ron Paul’s impeccable record on the sanctity of life – at all stages of life, including at the conclusion of one’s service to the nation – to key early state voters,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.
South Carolina voters are receptive to Ron Paul’s message that life is precious and military service is honorable, all in the context of his overall philosophy of a return to personal and economic liberty,” said Mr. Benton.

Revolution PAC Releases Second in “Who is Ron Paul?” Series

Video highlights Dr. Paul’s generosity toward disadvantaged patients.

Northbrook, IL |  The second in a four-part web ad series featuring personal stories of Americans who have been affected by Republican presidential candidate and Iowa frontrunner Rep. Ron Paul was released today by Revolution PAC.

The new video, “The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul,” features a remarkable story from the congressman’s days as a practicing obstetrician in south Texas. In 1972, James Williams of Matagorda County and his young wife found themselves under Paul’s care during a high-risk delivery. In the video, James recounts the prejudice of the day and how Dr. Paul looked beyond color lines to deliver their bi-racial child when other nurses and doctors ignored James’ pleas for help.

“He was a doctor of medicine, and that’s what he was doing, practicing medicine,” reflects Williams in the montage. “It didn’t matter who and what and why.”

Williams continues, “He’s just an honest man, and that’s something we need now in this day and time.”

The first in the video series, “Adherence to the Oath,” released last week by the super PAC supporting Rep. Paul’s presidential bid features Captain Bill Manning. In the web ad, the Vietnam and Desert Storm veteran reflects upon his service to the nation and explains Ron Paul’s resonance with all Americans who value the Constitution.

“Simply put, Ron Paul has individual appeal, regardless of where one might fall on the political, socioeconomic, age or racial spectrum,” explains Revolution PAC Chair Gary Franchi. “As he likes to say, ‘Freedom brings people together.’ We intend to convey that message in this series.”

Revolution PAC is supporting Ron Paul’s consistent, constitutional message with targeted TV advertising, direct mail campaigns and innovative Web promotions complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations are being accepted by Revolution PAC to support that effort. Contributions to help fund the broadcast of the “Who is Ron Paul?” series in key primary states may be made at RevolutionPAC.com/compassion.

Ron Paul Campaign Releases New Pro-life Ad Featuring Some of His Former Patients

Women patients attest to Dr. Paul’s character, professionalism and commitment to life

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign unveiled its new prolife ad “Always on the Right Path” featuring four former patients of Dr. Paul’s medical practice in Brazoria County, Texas.

Dr. Paul, an Air Force flight surgeon and 12-term Congressman from Texas, is by trade an accomplished OB-GYN who personally delivered more than 4,000 babies.

The 60-second online ad will be shared via email and on websites with conservative, prolife, and values voter audiences beginning today.  It begins with a narrator describing Dr. Paul as a prolific doctor, a man of faith, and a man committed to protecting life.  However, the moving testimonials of his patients are what the ad features most prominently – and most effectively.

“Some people need to have a good word said about them.  Ron is the sort of person that his life is his good word,” former patient Laura Mays offers in the ad.  “Ron did not let Washington change him,” Ms. Mays later adds.

“He not only protects unborn life, but he also walks through journeys with women and he has for years,” Kara Gore proclaims in the ad.

“It’s not hard for someone who is a Christian and who truly believes to stay on the right path, and I think that’s what kind of person Ron Paul is,” Diane Wilson declares in the ad.

“This ad is unequaled in its authenticity, and in its capacity to convey the message that not only is Ron Paul the Champion of the Constitution, he is also a champion of life with particular emphasis on the unborn,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.  “This is a clear case of credible subject matter serving as its own convincing message.”

VIDEO: Gingrich – Selling Access

Gingrich in his own words, a Washington ‘insider’

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today the release of its latest ad, ‘Selling Access’, another two-minute web video aimed at former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, calling him out as a corrupt Washington insider who got rich through influence-peddling.

The video, which the campaign plans to promote prominently on conservative web sites, includes a clip of Gingrich calling himself an ‘insider’ and another in which the former Speaker brags about getting paid $60,000-a-speech. The video comes after the viral success of Paul’s earlier web ad, ‘Serial Hypocrisy’, which criticizes Gingrich for many of the same issues.

“These are all legitimate and important issues to point out to the American people,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. “If Americans are serious about changing the status quo in Washington, then they must take into account the record of someone who profited from the housing collapse with taxpayers’ money, advocated for Obamacare-style individual mandates, and who played the Washington game of getting rich due to influence as well as anyone.”

Ron Paul Campaign Releases 60-Second Version of Newt Ad

Ad takes hard look at the former Speaker’s record

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today that it will release a shorter 60-second version of an earlier web advertisement that challenges former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on a group of issues dear to conservative voters.

Much of the ad is in the former Speaker’s own voice, and after a few statements by Newt it features news clips about the former Speaker’s lobbying ties to government mortgage giant Freddie Mac, a firm that helped perpetuate the financial crisis and recession. In addition, the spot showcases discussion of Newt’s lobbying ties to healthcare firms prior to his support of an Obama-Pelosi-Reid individual mandate as part of the recent wildly unpopular healthcare reform, to the absolute horror of nationally-syndicated conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.

The campaign is shipping the ad to Iowa TV stations today, and it will be going up as part of an expanded Paul buy in Iowa beginning on Wednesday. It will run in conjunction with Paul’s other new ad, ‘Big Dog’.

“We wanted to ensure this ad reached as many voters as possible, to debunk the myth that the Newt we are seeing on the 2012 campaign trail is the conservative he has been touted to be all along,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“The voters are looking for authentic conservatives who are able to show a decades-long career of consistently walking the walk of Constitutional principles, limited government, and promoting sound economic policies.  Ron Paul is the only Republican presidential candidate with that record.”

Ron Paul Campaign to Air New TV Ad in Early Voting States

30-second spot ‘Big Dog’ touts Paul’s resolve in cutting outsize federal debt, uncontrolled spending

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today the release of its newest television ad “Big Dog,” which touts the 12-term Texas Congressman’s seriousness on federal debt and spending reductions.

Beginning today the 30-second ad will air on broadcast and cable television in the key early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire.  The spot contrasts establishment Republican candidates unwilling to make difficult choices on spending cuts and debt reduction with the sole candidate whose bite on such matters equals his bark: Ron Paul.

In particular the ad informs viewers about major provisions of Ron Paul’s “Plan to Restore America” including his proposal to cut $1 trillion from the federal budget in year one of a Ron Paul presidency, and his proposed elimination of the U.S. Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, and Interior.

“This ad is fun and energetic, yet the issues it focuses on are grave and weigh heavily on the minds of voters across America.  Through this ad we continue to argue that Ron Paul is the only candidate with a serious economic plan to end out-of-control federal spending, reduce the debt, and curtail government activism that hampers economic growth,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

Ron Paul Campaign Releases ‘The Video That Newt Doesn’t Want You to See’

150-second online ad cross-examines the former Speaker’s record on policy, values and seriousness

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today that it has released and will broadly distribute a 150-second online advertisement that challenges former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on a group of issues dear to conservative voters.

Much of the ad is in the former Speaker’s own voice, and after a few statements by Newt it follows with an image of him sitting on a loveseat beside former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the two chuckling over their agreement concerning as-yet scientifically proven anthropogenic global warming.  The ad also features Newt’s knee-jerk assault on Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) modest budget proposal, and the former Speaker’s lobbying ties to government mortgage giants Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae that perpetuated the financial crisis and recession.

Taken together, claims made in the ad present conservative voters with a question about Newt, and indeed the ad concludes with this query.  And that is “What will you tell me next time?”

The campaign will send the ad to a far-reaching email list of conservative voters nationally, including in key early voting states, and it will purchase banner ads on national and state websites where conservative readers congregate.

“Our campaign is making a bold move to debunk the myth that the Newt we are seeing on the 2012 campaign trail is the conservative he has been touted to be all along.  This step we are taking is necessary, as voters are seeking authenticity among conservatives who are able to show a decades-long career of consistently walking the walk of Constitutional principles, limited government, and promoting sound money and economic policy.  Ron Paul is the only Republican presidential candidate with that record,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

VIDEO: Ron Paul Shines, Romney/Cain Skip Iowa Manufacturing Forum

Brandstad: Paul plan “boldest to reduce the federal deficit,” notes Revolution PAC.

Northbrook, IL (PRWEB) November 03, 2011 – While fellow frontrunners Mitt Romney and Herman Cain declined to participate, Rep. Ron Paul shined at Tuesday’s Republican Presidential Forum on Manufacturing in Pella, Iowa, notes Revolution PAC. Paul’s Restore America Plan – proposing to cut $1 trillion in spending and five federal departments in one year – was singled out by Governor Terry Branstad as the “boldest to reduce the federal deficit.”

“Spending is a tax,” explained Paul. “So many come up short [because] they’re not willing to talk about significant cuts in spending.”

The post-WWII economic boom, Paul said, validates that significant federal spending cuts, tax cuts and less foreign involvement can dramatically boost domestic prosperity.

“You need to cleanse the system, get rid of the malinvestment, get rid of the debt,” Paul continued, “otherwise you can’t have economic growth. And, that’s what they refuse to accept.”

Rep. Paul’s comments came in the wake of Monday’s ominous news that U.S. total debt had exceeded $15 trillion, surpassing gross domestic product for the first time in more than 50 years.

At the forum, Paul also stressed his longstanding support of low regulations and tariffs, market-driven interest rates, a value-based currency, domestic trade authority, monetary policy transparency, and a free market approach that would curb all artificial stimulus schemes and price controls.

“Iowa manufacturers, and Americans everywhere, are looking for a straight talker who will actually do something to arrest the country’s decline,” explains Tom Woods, Revolution PAC Honorary Advisory Board Chairman. “In Mitt Romney and in former Kansas City Federal Reserve Chairman Herman Cain, neither of whom bothered to show up, they have the usual flip-flopping and shell games. Instead of shifting taxes around and being coy about spending, Ron Paul wants to repeal taxes and has shown us exactly what he’ll cut. That kind of courage plays well in Iowa.”

Woods, a senior fellow at the Ludwig von Mises Institute, has called Cain’s signature 9-9-9 Plan “revenue-neutral tax shifting,” without provisions for significant cuts.

“The real problem with Romney and Cain are their own records,” Woods continues. “They both enthusiastically supported TARP, which Reagan budget director David Stockman has called ‘the single greatest economic-policy abomination since the 1930s, or perhaps ever.’”

Woods concludes, “On the major economic issue of our time, Cain and Romney sided with the New York Times and Barack Obama against the American people. What on earth is there for conservatives and tea partiers to like about candidates like these?”

Rep. Paul is proving a force to be reckoned with in Hawkeye State, winning Saturday’s National Federation of Republican Assemblies Straw Poll in Des Moines, garnering 82 percent of the vote among Iowans and leading in Iowa Power Rankings.

Revolution PAC is bolstering Ron Paul’s consistent constitutional and limited government message with targeted TV advertising campaigns complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations are being accepted by Revolution PAC to support that effort.

VIDEO: Revolution PAC Web Ad Blasts Obama on Militarism

Ron Paul super PAC illustrates blowback, bankruptcy wrought by Mideast intervention.

Northbrook, IL – October 07, 2011

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s heralded 2009 “Imagine” foreign policy speech is the inspiration for a new web ad released Thursday by Revolution PAC. The 3-minute video reinforces the unintended consequences – increased foreign aggression and debilitating national debt – reaped by overseas adventurism.

The ad is a direct hit to President Obama, who reneged on his 2008 campaign promise to bring the troops home and end the now decade-long War on Terror.

“Establishment politicians, including Barack Obama, either fail to grasp or outright ignore the crushing impact of U.S. militarism,” explains Revolution PAC Advisory Board member Gary Franchi. “For 30 years, Ron Paul has stood firm in backing a constitutional foreign policy based on friendship and trade with other nations and a strong defense of our own borders. Tangible support of Dr. Paul by the troops themselves more than proves his position.”

Ron Paul is favored for president by the military rank-and-file, receiving the most donations from all military branches in second quarter 2011 fund-raising.
 Partial narrative from the ad:

“The reality is that our military presence on foreign soil is as offensive to the people who live there as armed Chinese troops would be if they were stationed in Texas. Shutting down military bases and ceasing to deal with other nations with threats and violence is not isolationism. It is the opposite. Opening ourselves up to friendship, honest trade and diplomacy is the foreign policy of peace and prosperity.”

Last week’s Harris Poll revealed that Ron Paul would prevail over Barack Obama 51 percent to 49 percent in a general election race. Paul stands at 12 percent nationwide.
Revolution PAC is bolstering Ron Paul’s consistent, constitutional message with targeted TV advertising campaigns complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Proceeds will support the airing of game-changing commercials, like “Plastic Men,” in the months to come. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations can be made at http://www.revolutionpac.com.
